The Support Ministry in AGPC, as the name implies, supports the work and functions of the other ministries in our church in three main areas.
Administration
Administration covers the day-to-day operation and execution of church office work and policies. It also manages all human resource matters and serves as the support arm for the various church ministries.
Building and Maintenance
This covers the supply, upkeep and maintenance of church equipment, IT facilities and website maintenance.
FINANCE
The Support Ministry is also responsible for the management of the church finance. This covers the stewardship of the funds that the church holds and the disbursement of contributions to EDC-approved para-church organizations.
The Finance Committee (FC), whose members are appointed by the EDC, assists the Session/EDC by reviewing the church finance policies and providing advice on the stewardship of the church funds.
The Internal Audit Committee (IAC), whose members are appointed by the EDC, assists the Session/EDC by identifying control gaps in the execution of established church policies.
The Remuneration Committee (RC), a Session-level committee comprising all elected Elders, reviews and decides on all matters related to remuneration and benefits for all church staff.
